Story Line
Ike has built a little empire for himself in Bedstuy, Brooklyn at the chaotic intersection of Myrtle and Broadway. He owns a bar and a pizzeria and lives in an apartment directly above these businesses. One day, his younger brother, Evan, a PHD student at Stanford, shows up and is hellbent on taking Ike upstate to go hiking. But Ike is busy – he has to knead pizza dough, replace some lightbulbs and crack the code to his gunsafe. He has no time for nature, emotions or sentimental brotherly connection and his procrastination pushes Evan to a breaking point.
