Story Line
When a young, Black, up-and-coming artist and sommelier is offered a prestigious new job, he is encouraged to change his appearance to adhere to the rules of ‘traditions’, putting him at the forefront of hypocrisy and hair discrimination. ‘CROWN’ is a short story shot on 16mm film exploring art, hair, hypocrisy and wine in New York.
